Welcome!

Troop 477 is part of the Boy Scouts of America, an educational program for boys 11 -18. Our troop focuses on outdoor activities and high adventure, as well as teaching youth the values, skills and fun of the Scouting Program.

We meet Mondays from 6:30-8 PM (unless listed on the calendar) during the school year at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church.

Sea Base 2005

As many know we offer a High Adventure trip each summer. This year we are going to Sea Base. Here is a picture of our last trip to Sea Base in 2005.

Our Troop Adopts a Highway:

Our troop adopted a portion of Highway 55; every Spring and Autumn our team of boys cleans up all of the trash. It is amazing what people throw in the ditches; and it's great to see our troop helping the community and the environment.

WATCH OUT

Watch out for this sinister hydrant hanging around outside of the fellowship hall where we meet. It has an alarm attached to it and last week someone set it off. Considering that it costs us $100 every time it is set off, we want to avoid all contact.

Please stay away from it, no matter how tempting it looks as a bike rack.
